Financial dashboard: example and KPIs

A financial dashboard brings together on one screen what leadership needs to know whether the business is on track: revenue, margins, cash and budget variance. Here we explain which indicators our demo includes and how each one is calculated. On the free assessment call we show it to you live.

The questions it answers at a glance

  • Are we making money this month and year to date?
  • Which business lines, customers or products leave the most margin?
  • Where are we off budget, and why?
  • Will we have enough cash over the coming months?

The dashboard connects to your accounting system and refreshes on its own, so month-end stops being a week of spreadsheets. See also our dashboard development service.

FAQ

Questions about financial dashboards

What is a financial dashboard?

It is a single view of a company’s key financial indicators, such as revenue, margins, cash and budget variance, connected to the accounting system and refreshed automatically. It lets leadership see how the business is doing in minutes without waiting for the month-end close.

Can it connect to our accounting software?

In most cases yes, either directly or through scheduled exports. On the assessment call we look at the system you use and how to extract its data. If accounting, sales and budget live in different places, we bring them together in the data model.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

It depends on the scope. There are three fixed-price packages: an executive Power BI dashboard for €3,500 in 7 days, predictive modelling for €6,500 in 7 to 10 days, and a Sales Ops / CRM audit for €2,500 in 5 to 7 days. If none of them fits, we work it out on the free call.
