Privacy policy
What personal data we collect on dv-analytics.com, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data controller
- Controller: Sarah Benhabib (DataVision Analytics)
- Contact: sarahbenhabib@dv-analytics.com
What data we process
Only the data you give us: the name, company, email address and message you enter in the contact form, or whatever you include if you email us. The language and the page you write from are stored with the message so that we can reply better.
To stop spam, the server uses your IP address temporarily and limits the number of messages per hour. We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.
Why and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare a quote: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To provide the service if we work together: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations such as tax rules (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- To protect the website from abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep the data
For as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or our working relationship. After that, only for the periods required by law (for example, tax rules), restricted and not used for anything else.
Who else has access
We do not share your data with third parties unless the law requires it. These providers process it on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:
- Web hosting and contact form delivery: Hostinger International Ltd, 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.
- Email: Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). Google may process data outside the European Economic Area with the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
The website loads no fonts, scripts or other files from external services: everything is served from our own hosting. The LinkedIn links only take you to LinkedIn if you click them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its processing, or request data portability by writing to sarahbenhabib@dv-analytics.com. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the authority in your country.
